565 Great Northern Way at “South Flatz”
Completed Fall 2018
565 Great Northern Way, Vancouver, BC
Adjacent to the new Emily Carr University of Arts and Design and the Centre for Digital Media, this iconic building will feature 160,000 square feet of office space distributed over seven storeys – well suited to the creative and digital industries. This complex also includes a distinct 2,000 SF retail pavilion that has become a notable landmark and ‘piece of art’ in the South Flatz neighbourhood. The recognizable red pavilion will be home to Nemesis Coffee, a local modern coffee shop most suitable for the rapidly growing creative precinct.
Designed to LEED® Gold, new office building will include a public plaza and pedestrian connection which are designed to integrate with Emily Carr University and the future rapid transit station. The building will have high quality fitness and bicycle end-of-trip facilities as it is prominently located on the Central Valley Greenway. It will also feature multiple patios, including a large rooftop deck with panoramic views of downtown Vancouver and the North Shore Mountains.
